Rebecca Donnelly has been practicing the healing arts for 30 plus years and has been offering acupuncture services in Baltimore, Maryland, since 2006.
With a strong background in bodywork, Rebecca has a thorough knowledge of how energy moves in the body. She has studied in Baltimore, MD; Austin, TX; Berkeley, CA; and Chai Khan, Thailand, acquiring expertise in the psychology of bodywork, zero balancing, acupressure, shiatsu, Thai massage, pregnancy massage, process acupressure, and more.
Through the years of studying bodywork, Rebecca was more and more drawn to the system of energy based on the meridians of Chinese Medicine. The meridians are channels or rivers of energy that have their own pathway through the body. When these pathways are flowing freely self-healing occurs.
Rebecca’s interest in the Chinese system of meridians led her to study acupuncture at the Maryland University of Integrative Health (formerly Tai Sophia Institute) in Laurel, MD. She graduated with a Master of Acupuncture in 2006 and is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Maryland.
Rebecca offers an inviting, warm, and healing environment in her office at BlueGreen Acupuncture & Bodywork in north central Baltimore. Her training is in 5 Element Acupuncture. 5 Element Acupuncture draws on the cycles of nature as a way to access the health in the body. Rebecca will focus on each individual’s needs and design a personalized treatment using needles, acupressure, moxa, and essential oils to create harmony and balance.
Rebecca is also currently a Brown Belt Nia instructor. She has regularly scheduled classes in the Baltimore area.
